Look at it this way: drummers have to use both feet and they literally keep all the rhythm. And guitars, god I hate it sometimes. You have to learn chords and whatnot. Singing isn't that big of a challenge unless you have stage fright. Been singing for like 9 years, easy when you do it forever. On bass you only have to learn fret notes, not chords or dual footing. There's a lot more to it than everything though bass is the easiest
Well to be honest, I find bass to be more difficult. Sure theres more on a guitar, but the fret spacing and neck legenth are bigger on a bass. Chords are also harder at times. Then you have to think about this one, you have a.067 inch string vs. a .140 string….. Which one is harder to get a note out of?
Marko1960 said “We have no Bible Belt, the UK is now a Muslim country”It may or may not be the truth but how does that answer the importance of the bass within a band????
Hahaha the importance is higher than most think. Before I started playing I like never even heard the bass. However back on topic, if you play guitar and bass you know for a fact bass is easier.
Mayhem is a laugh a minute, I'd love to be stuck in a lift with him for a week! He's driving me frantic with his pedantic antics
Now Now, truth hurts when I point out something odd? I wouldn't fancy being stuck in a lift with you as the waffle you come out with in these threads sometimes would bore me to tears!
