I just added a captcha - we'll see if it thwarts them a bit. Next step is email verification.
I've also improved some stuff to thwart spammers.. let me know if you have trouble posting on the forums because of it.
No problem posting, but I did just have to ban another spammer and delete their posts.

Yeah, me too. It seems they are actively trying and constantly one upping me.
Why do they spam? It just wastes your time so what is the actual purpose behind them spamming?
The thing they are spamming is something about a customer support hotline.. So I imagine if they spam this message hard enough they get higher on google if someone googles e.g. “aol problems” and then you call their phone number and they probably scam you into installing some malware on your computer and then they steal you money.. who knows… but I'm sure the final goal is scamming people out of some cash
Oh. Well I will try my best to think of ways to help.
i think i messed something up and its not working right now
the system banned around 100 spammers today, I think we’re doing pretty good so far
