It did. Axl added it to the album which was not wanted by the other members. At the end of the song Axl says “thanks, Chas” which I don't suppose went down too well.
I read somewhere that he has released albums!!! So if you are desperate for a career in music, go kill a bunch of people in a sadistic manner & away you go! Just bizarre!
There is a band back in the 90's that I really like called Mansun. They were originally called Manson for one release. They were advised to change their name!
