I just want to publicly thank LoudLon for all of his amazing tabs. He just posted his 750th this week (!!!), and like all the others has clear measures, repeats, and note lengths. I can't tell you how many times I've been excited to see a song posted by someone only to find that it's just a long series of notes with no measure indications, or worse yet, a short series of notes and an instruction that the song just repeats those notes (when it doesn't).
That never happens with LoudLon. The dude makes near perfect tabs ever time and he makes lots of them. If there's an error, he fixes it. He gets my vote for BigBassTab's MVP.
Well done Lon, what a fantastic achievement, keep em coming as not many people posting tabs to the calibre of yours (that includes me). Keep up the excellent work and the 1000th tab won't be too long coming.
It's a shame we can't make money off of tabs. I'd be loaded! I'd buy Marko an “I Love Thatcher” beer cozy, and Jay a sleeveless dress shirt for when he attends formal functions. Then I'd spend the rest on hookers. And, consequently, various topical ointments to treat the myriad STDs I'd likely contract.
Hahaha I'm sorry I didn't see this thread sooner, my pet degus been battling pneumonia and I havent been playing much the past couple weeks (shes getting better now). Thanks Lon, you sure do make learning basslines easier. Especially with us bass players that arent quite as gifted with figuring stuff out by ear haha! Now lets all start a gofundme for those hookers and ointments!
