Ok so that it for the footy season time to move onto the small red balls

Off to see Sussex v South Africa in a couple of weeks with the lads ,warm up game for the champions trophy

Went to a similar game a couple of years back where we played Bangladesh ,Sussex slaughtered em and so where we by stumps ( not a good idea to drink spitfire ale all day in the sun )

Bringing it back to bass ,Bill Wyman is a big cricket fan and played for the Bunburys celebrity charity team

I hate cricket, think it's a class thing, I think us northerners are good for digging coal and marching towards German machine guns and that's the end of that

I remember the Don Revie glory days, the way players go down theatrically these days when you look at them sideways, none of that back then, if you wanted to bring Norman Hunter down you had to drive a bus over him, and a double decker at that! Better chance of shoving butter up a wildcats arse with a red hot poker
