a lot of music today doesn't use actual instruments, and that someone on the radio dissed the bass. I don't know why but I get fired up when these are brought up.

how on earth do you diss the bass? what did they say?
Sounds a really dumb thing to say, I'd like to know in what context this was made. Somehow though I don't think any reason could cover up such a stupid statement.
