I call mine the JT! It's the nearest I'll ever get to handling John Taylor!
As attached as i am to my bass i've never bothered to call it anything else other than a bass
jt are you sure you arent more into john stamos?
It's just a tool and I don't get emotionally attached to my tools

My basses to me are an extension of myself. That's why I named them, and the name system helps me keep track of what bass I use for a specific song. For jazz and funk I use my TBC (Rusty), and for every other song I play, I use my Ibanez (Aries)
Although my 14" Marshalltown finishing trowel is now 14 years old and I can't bring myself to bin it even though it's bent like a banana
