Hi,
Just to introduce myself, I am just returning to the Bass after a short (30 years) pause (I'm now nearly 65 years old… lol! My hearing isn't as good as it was in my teens up to my 30s, when I stopped playing, so need to look at some tabs to help me figure out some songs. I hope when I get back used to things, I will be able to also contribute some tabs to the site, well, that's the intention anyway.

If you're in standard tuning (EADG), to transpose from C to F you basically need to shift everything up 5 frets. For example, if you're playing the C note (A string, 3rd fret) you'd shift up five frets to F note (A string, 8th fret). So using the guide below (0 representing the open string):

You'd need to shift up five frets for every note. One thing to consider is that in standard tuning, all strings are tuned to the fifth fret of the string physically located above it. So the open G string is the same note as holding the D string on the 5th fret, the open D string is the same note as holding the A string on the 5th fret, and the open A string is the same note as holding the E string on the 5th fret. So if you wanted, instead of playing the F five notes higher on the A string, you could just play it on the 3rd fret of the D string:
