I bought a Warwick Streamer Standard 5string Rockbass, I was wondering if any MM Pickups would fit on it. If not what pickups would be best to use(I play metal mostly). Currently my pickups are the MEC Vintage Humbucker Passive 5 string, the dimensions are 44 x 104,5 mm.
I don't think those are MM pickups, but Soapbars. I've heard of people putting EMGs, Bartolini's, Basslines (Seymour Duncan), but some people have gotten more mileage out of changing out the pre-amp rather than the pickups.
That's unfortunate about this place, it used to be so active and then all of a sudden, it could be days or weeks with no activity. What the hell happened while i was gone?
Every forum has its up and down times – but I don't mind saying the current down time has been going on too damn long. I'd love if the place were to start popping again.
