Chris Squire of Yes RIP!

I lost my pet newt, Tiny, the same day that Chris went.…I called him Tiny cos he was my newt

A swear word springs to mind for some reason
I can't believe it's been over 3 years since we lost Chris! Such a wonderful bassist. Must play some Yes today.
Yes today by the Beatles?
I think Paul McArtney played bass on that one.

again, the very same swear word

Magic. Seeing him live. You could actually feel his bass in your chest. He had that much amplification. In a good way.

I read a quote from Bill Bruford who said Chris had one setting loud and louder. To me that's two. But its his quote. They once told him in the studio he has to turn his bass down. He remarked only if Steve does. I find that funny. Screw the guitarist I want them to hear me lol.

Sadly never saw the great man live, or Yes. Big regret of mine!

Prog rock wasn't for me. Seeing Rick Wakeman play four pianos at once while dressed as a wizard just didn't float my boat.

…very funny man Rick Wakeman by the way
