People are dicks, man. Though I have to say, honestly, I'm glad I'm not the only one this has happened to. I've had this happen a couple times before and it has left me paranoid, like there's someone here out to get me. Even now, any time I post a new tab, there's a sense of dread that whatever yellow-bellied sissy is doing this is going to bomb it just to be an ass.

I'm wondering if it's a matter of jealousy? If memory serves, most of the tabs I've had bombed were for songs that already had tabs in our database. And not to sound egotistical but I know my shit's usually spot on (though I admit there are some I've had to bluff my way through simply because I couldn't make every note out) so maybe the person tanks your tab so when people are going down the list looking at ratings, they bypass your low-rated tab, y'know? Are any of your tabs for songs that were already in the database?

Just a thought.

It would be nice if comments were left for any tab rated less than five stars, especially if the error is something trivial, so the tabber can fix it. I do that for folks myself. Just sent a tabber a PM earlier today in fact giving him a chance to fix his tab before I rated it.

But that's why I include a video of the song with all my tabs, as well as an isolated bass track (if one is available) so raters can actually follow the tab with the track itself and see for themselves how accurate it is.

So when someone rates it less than five but doesn't leave a comment – like someone just did for my Black Hole Sun tab, the prick – that tells me they're just being petty, because the track is right there to compare it to.
