I hate that band so much. Sure some of the instrumentals are cool but c'mon. The vocals are trash. Anybody can scream horrible falsetto notes. Hahahaha
King Diamond is the stage name of the singer. He's the most known for being in merciful fate. I really really love that band. I guess it's not for everyone
Can't really say I've heard much King Diamond, outside of a couple of their video clips on Beavis and Butt-Head back in the early ‘90s. What I heard didn’t really impress me enough to bother seeking out more of their stuff, but I'm willing to give them more of a listen if anyone would care to recommend some tracks.
Kim Bendix Petersen has an incredible vocal range. I'm sure he doesn't please everyone and falsetto can become annoying but he deserves some credit for his abilities. I was into the theatrics of King Diamond and Mercyful Fate in the late 80's and early 90's. Probably not the best music of the era but worth listening to if you like the metal of the time frame.
