OK, so this is my first tab, and the first song I've tabbed out myself. I used this
video to tab it out: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=k9xb3BR6KuY
I would suggest using that video to learn the rythm of the bass.
Karmacoma is a pretty easy song to learn on the bass, because there's only two riffs
in the song, and those two riffs are pretty much the same. Good luck!
Song: Karmacoma
Artist: Massive Attack
Album: Protection
Tuning: Standard (EADG)
Two measures of drums, and then:
Intro:
G—————————————————————————————————————————————
D—————————————————————————————————————————————
A——7—9—0—9—0—7—9————7—9—0—9—0—12—9————————————
E—————————————————————————————————————————————
Play this once. You can either play the open string on the A, or the fifth fret on
the E, it's the same.
From now on:
Verse:
"You sure you want to be with me..."
G—————————————————
D—————————————————
A——7—9—0—9—0—7—9——
E—————————————————
Play this until chorus.
Chorus:
"Karmacoma, jamaica' aroma..."
G———————————————————————————————————
D———————————————————————————————————
E——7—9—0—9—0—7—9———7—9—0—9—0—12—9———
A———————————————————————————————————
Repeat this until the chorus is finished, or until the flute is almost finished
playing after the chorus.
Stop playing at the "Karmacoma, what?"— part, and then start again when the final
chorus starts. After the chorus, play the chorus riff until the end.
That's it! I'm not sure if it's perfect, but if you have any comments, please tell
me! Thanks.

Instead of playing A12 i do D7. For me it sounds better and the playing is more comfortable.
