What's Your Set List?
Title says it all. Whether you're a performing musician, in a garage band or someone who plays as a hobby, we all have a song, or a number of songs, we like to jam to. What does your typical set list look like?
I don't play with anyone now. I just crank up the amp in my basement and play songs that I've played with others, and songs I still like.
Right now I'm playing:
Led Zeppelin's Ramble On
John Rzeznik's I'm Still Here
Toad the Wet Sprocket's Walk on the Water
Amos Lee's In the Arms of a Woman
The Police's Message in a Bottle
The Eagles' Love Will Keep Us Alive
Kings of Leon's Use Somebody
Mumford and Son's I Will Wait
Luke Bryan's Drunk on You
John Denver's Take Me Home Country Roads
Pretty eclectic list, but those are the songs I conitue to play for some reason.

I ask, because I don't really have a written-in-stone set list myself. I basically plug in my bass, open my PC's music folder and just bounce around from one song to the next, whatever I feel like playing, and I'm sure to play at least an hour to two hours a day to keep myself in practice. On the weekends, though, I'll jam for 3, sometimes four hours a pop, just whatever pops into my head to play.
I wish I could play that much. I'm lucky if I can get 4 hours in a week.
Well, I'm unemployed courtesy of corporate downsizing (I was an addiction counselor) and I'm single. I have nothing BUT time.
i play about 7 to 8 hours a day
everyday lol
