So I'm getting a Fender Rumble 100 and I was wondering if I were to buy a cheap pedalboard around 70 with 4 places for pedals how do I plug it in? There are two different inputs for the board (FX and something else), do I need to use those two? I would really like some more info. And what's some useful effects besides wah and distortion? Thank you!
Your first mistake: “buying a cheap pedal board”
The rule here is: “you get what you pay for”
When it comes to gear, cheap is not always better.
What you want is “quality”
Read reviews from people who have purchased or have used this type of gear.

A lot of your questions can be answered by using “Google” or whatever Search Engine you have, just by typing it in.

Whatever Board you decide to purchase, it will have a diagram of how to connect these components together.

A decent pedal board $300 bucks, I would not look at anything less than that.
A really nice pedal board BOSS GT-108 Bass Effects Processor - $500 bucks

Don't go for the expensive all in one boards like the Boss GT 108 mentioned, too complicated, get some plywood and buy individual boss pedals and this way you can build up your armory and when you're onstage and you want, say, fuzz, you look down and you see a purple pedal and you know it's Fuzz. Most pedals are personal choice but THE one you need is Bass Compressor, it cuts the unwanted high and low frequencies and makes your sound nice and tight and punchy

Get the pedals you want, not the ones you don't, like you would get in the multi effects board, and if you fancy something a little more Hi Tech than a lump of plywood, Boss make a pedal board for you to add your own choice of pedals. Each pedal is linked by patch cables, very short guitar leads, you plug your bass into the first pedal and the last pedal goes to the amp, you can mix the pedals to customise your sound

Thanks! And yeah I meant just a board to put pedals on. I wouldn't use a lot of the effects on a effects board. May just use your idea and build something with my dad
