Has anyone played barre chords on bass so i just wondered if there are chords for guitar why not for bass….if anyone has any kind of info on bass barre chords not open chords please(they can be made using arpeggios and knowledge of fretboard) then do let me know

Why would you want to play barre chords on your bass? It doesn't sound good….

you can do it if you play the chords on the 12th frets - 20th frets

For those that want to play bar chords will & those that don't won't.

Sometimes we need the arpeggios to create a dynamic bassline and for outling the harmony (without using the root note)….and no one can remember all the open shapes…so barre chords are always better

I don't do barre chords. I use harmonic or add 11 chords.
