I'm surprised he didn't sell his company. They're quality basses. A bit pricey, but very unique and well built. I'm sure there is a buyer out there that would have kept the line going.

You're right, I was surprised as well. The brand could live on for a long time, just like Leo's.

You have to respect his choice, though. You won't see a Pendulla bass that he didn't make. He was the business and the business was him, and he doesn't want to put his name on something he's not involved with.

45 years is quite a run, too. Hats off to him for doing things his own way the whole time!
