I learned a whole album by some weird Germans. For some songs I played the bass through unusual means, like with a barely functioning cello bow, a drumstick, and a screwdriver. (There are time links in the video description if you want to jump ahead.)
German music publishers are sometimes not very free with their copyrights, so the above video is blocked almost everywhere except for North America due to one song. YouTube helpfully allowed me to make a copy of the video where that song is removed, but my playing remains in the mix, for the most part.
