Hey everyone,
I just upgraded to my *first* five string! I picked it up about an hour ago and brought it home, and though everything is normal if I ignore the B string…well, I don't really want to do that. Do any of you know of any good tabs for 5 string? As per style, I'm into pretty much anything from reggae to classic rock to jazz. Lemme know!
Thanks

Just about anything from the grunge genre will have you using the 5th string.

You won't need to do any of that pesky down tuning of the E string, but you won't play much lower than the 3rd fret on the B.

I have a 6 string and rarely find myself playing the B string other than playing the fretted E.

There's a 5-string tab for both Vertigo and Sunrise in the Duran Duran tabs. Cheers.

Also, The Mummers' Dance by Loreena McKennitt.

If you're into metal these are good

Dirty by Korn (A D G C F)
Crush 'Em by Megadeth
Slaughter Of The Soul by At The Gates
Prince Of Darkness by Megadeth
Antichrist Superstar by Marilyn Manson
Cast Down by Slayer

If you are into metal or hard rock, you can use the B string instead of having to change your tuning all the time
