Green Day is an American rock trio formed in 1987. The band has consisted of lead vocalist and guitarist Billie Joe Armstrong, bassist and backing vocalist Mike Dirnt, and drummer Tré Cool for the majority of its existence. The band is credited as one of the two main bands, along with The Offspring, who put the punk revival into process.

but im pretty sure that there's an open Db played during that walk down.

It wouldn't surprise me if that's the case. That's the one note in the whole song I wasn't 100% on. Sometimes I think I hear the open Db over the 2nd fret note, sometimes it sounds like it's the one note in that little walk-down that he's NOT hitting the Db over (hence why I wrote it on the 7th fret of the 3rd string instead). But you could very well be right.

In any case,
it's such a minor thing…either one works really.
I just play the chord cuz thats waht it sounds like to me.
i'm also a sucker for bass chords so i'll milk that as much as possible!
