Try this: at the very beginning, the guitar plays a little riff of six notes. The first four are the same pitch (note), then the fifth note is higher, then the last note is back down to the same as the first four.
These six notes go with one-and-two-and (the first four notes) -three (the higher pitch note) four (back down in pitch).
so the rhythm and counting is: one-and-two-and-three…..four.

Here's the rest of the bass part for Tango, it's the first and second phrases repeated with vocal one more time. With the two earlier postings, this is the whole song. Please check.

Gerr, do you have a five string?
If not, does drop D tuning work for you?
I'm working on a Marco Polo tab, and it goes down to the D below an open E string.
I have a 5 string Sid, but I prefer 4 string and drop D tuning work for me.

Tell me what you think of this as a bass line for Marco Polo. This is for the fist 1:11 of the song. Parts of it match the percussion, parts match the guitar. I can't hear a bass part until near the end of the song, so this tab is what I have made up. Thanks.
