With a song like this, really the best way to play it is to know the root notes for the different riffs and know how play bass and improvise your transitions from note to note and riff to riff, as Deon Estus does on the recording. If, like me, improvising is asking a lot of your bass playing and causes incontinence, this song provides a good opportunity to hear/see it done.
