Tips for progressing with 'Slap'?

Okay, so I have been playing for about a year now, I really want to get into slapping and I know a bit but not a lot!

I ideally want to play like Flea, I know, I know, long shot, but hey, I want to give it a go!!

I have checked Fleas videos out but I have a really short attention span, I pick my bass up like 2 weeks out the month and then forget about it!!

So, how can I slap and pop, pretty quickly and easilly?!?!

Also, I would recomened Higher Ground, it's suprisingly easier than you think.
