I'm also a massive pistols fan, I remember back in 77, some mates asked me to go and see a band called The Spots at the Coatham Bowl in Redcar, which is about ten miles from where I live, but I couldn't afford it at the time. The next day I was devastated to find out that The Spots were, ‘The Sex Pistols On Tour Secretly’, Glen Matlock was still with them at this point I think, who, with John Lydon, wrote all the songs
