Anyone want to start band?

I'm a fourteen year old bassist, piano player and guitarist, based in Melbourne, Australia. I've only been playing for a couple of years, but I'm interested in starting a band, as I've heard that's a good way to learn. None of my mates seem to be interested in joining a band though.
Any advice on starting one, or if anyone's interested in joining me, please reply. I'm super desperate here. Thank you so much.

I also play bass! I'm 12, based in Medford, Oregon. I like songs like My R/Watashi no R, Shinitai-chan, and definitely metal. I like songs that have darker meaning, honestly. HMU if you ever want me to record a bass session for you! (I love anime intro/outro tracks too!)

I'd recommend putting up posters in your school and local community centre, as well as try promote it on social media on stories. I doubt you'll that many friends interested, but at least if you put up posters advertising it, you can try get people who actually have an interest. You may know them, may love em, like em, hate em, whatever it is. But at least by advertising it instead of asking around, you can reach more people. Hell, bands like U2 started from a poster up in a school that some lads wanted to join and make a band, or that Black Sabbath found Ozzy because of an ad in a newspaper and it was someone they went to school with.
I'd recommend all that before doing it purely online, because trust me as a 19 yr old, it's much better to spend your time in real life than in online groups. It'll benefit you way more, and I wish I heard this advice at that age.
