Any recommendations ? Brands etc ?

Deep heavy dark warm lol.. I guess just a bit more ‘bass’ than the average .45-100 round wound stainless stuff out there.

I just set up my Epiphone semi-hollow with D'addario heavy half-rounds (55-110) and I'm very happy with them - smooth but thumpy.

Hell yes - I had these on my Ibanez Artcore hollow body and it had a great, smoky upright sound - great strings, totally worth the money.
