So lately I have been getting into Billy Sheehan, and i waa studying his bass, the Yamaha attitude. but i got fascinated with his P bass, I really liked the humbucker pickup at the neck, does anyone know if fender have or will ever put a humbucker pickup at the beginning (or end) of the neck? and would music stores fit one in a fender P bass.
Yes they do, its known as the Fender American Standard Dimension Bass iv H H, but if the £1,800 price tag puts you off try the Squier Standard Dimension iv. Incidentally, the P Bass split pick up is a humbucker
