I like my action fairly low, as a result there is a little slap.
I can hear it when i play, but don't hear it through the amp.

My Bass does the same thing. since i don't hear it through the amp, i've never seen it as a problem. i'm not really a tech guy, but i think that's just the price you pay for having low action.
