This is a moveable minor scale.
….remember your octaves….

Just by adding one note to the pentatonic minor you get the blues scale.

G|--------------------------------------|
D|-----------5-7------------------------|
A|-----5-6-7----------------------------|
E|-5-8----------------------------------|

Pentatonic major

Tabs:

G|--------------------------------------|
D|---------4-7---------------------------|
A|-----4-7--------------------------------|
E|-5-7------------------------------------|

The tune to Amazing Grace is in a Pentatonic Major.

To visualize pentatonic scales, go to the piano (or ask a friend that can play one), play only the black keys, the major pentatonic will start on F# and the minor pentatonic will start on D#.
