There are 2 different rhythms involved with the same basic riff. The
intro and verse being slightly different. It's not easy to show the
exact timing, but I had a shot. The easiest way is to listen to the
recording, and you'll hear the emphasis on different notes. Speaking
for myself, I hear the emphasis on the Bm in the intro, and during
the verse, I hear it on the lead—in note. I will add that each time
you play a verse, you play the intro rhythm once first before
settling in to the verse rhythm. Confusing, but there you go. :)

I owe a great deal to Jared's tab. I would have just put up his version
but there were a few bits and pieces that I thought were different, and
I didn't want to pass his work off as my own or mess with his tab too
much. (His version, like a couple of the others that I did steal, is
available at http://www.basstabarchive.com) So I at least tabbed and
wrote out the whole thing myself, and I've got quite a few extra notes
in the tab, especially in the latter part of the verse. Even so, I
think there could be a couple more that I've missed. For example, there
could be a few walks up or down here and there. This tab should do fine
though.

If you can't figure out where all the chords go with the words, the
guitar tab is a good place to start, and is available at this site.

This is one of my favourite Milkmen bass songs. The verse bit
is just way cool, though it is a bit tricky to play. I know some
people have asked if I can make the fingering a bit easier, and
in this case, I tried... but couldn't. It just made it more
complicated if I tried to take away the 4 — 7 stretch. If anyone
feels they can make an improvement, please let me know. However,
I've got long fingers and can reach fine, so :P

Again, as always I say that if you get confused about what goes
where, you can look at the guitar tab and that usually explains
the sections in more detail. If that doesn't work, just ask me.

This bit is curious. On this and the first line of the verse, the
bass goes very faint (or inaudible). I desperately want to play
