Guster — "Rocketship"
>From the album "Goldfly"
Intro/Verse
G|—————————————————————————|—————————————————————————|
D|—————————————————————————|—————————————————4———————|
A|——2————5——————————————0——|——2————5—————————————————|
E|————————————3————2——3————|————————————3————————————|
Throw in some hammer—ons in the verse to change it up, listen to the song
to get some ideas.
Pre—chorus
G|————————————————————|
D|————————————————————|
A|————————————————————| x4
E|——3——5/7————5——7/9——|
Chorus — same as verse, just add some fills
After the chorus there's a cool walk—up that goes like so:
G—————————————————————————————|
D|————9——/——12——/——17——16————|
A|——2/————————————————————————|
E|————————————————————————————|
Play all of these slides slowly except the first one (once again, listen
to the song to get the timing)
Well that's the song, it's pretty easy so mix in some of your own stuff
if you wanna spiff it up.
I love Guster, and you should too, listen to them a lot now.
Buen provecho!
