Don't forget Cameron Crowe's “Fast Times at Ridgemont High.”

My mom was the Principal's secretary at one of the high schools that Ridgemont High was modeled on. Crowe and the producers visited a few times, and met some students and teachers. Including the kid that a lot of Spicoli was modeled on, including ordering a pizza to be delivered to detention.

To this day I get a little chub when I hear “Moving in Stereo” by the Cars.

Am I sharing too much?

Watch that “D” word.

The soundtrack from Deadman(Whoops there's that “D” word again)done by Neil Young. Great movie by Jim Jarmusch. If you have not seen it, do so.
