Founding Yes bassist Chris Squire has passed away today after losing battle with Acute Erythroid Leukemia (AEL), an uncommon form of Acute Myeloid Leukemia (AML). He was 67.
Another bass god heads up towards the pearly gates! Listen to Roundabout, Prog or not it'san amazing piece of playing!
That is really sad news! I'm not really a Yes fan but I know inspirational they were & Chris was as a bass player!
RIP….

Very sad. It seems like it was only a couple of weeks ago he was diagnosed with cancer I believe?

It took him quick and much too soon.

Very innovative bass player who influenced many.

Sorry I don't know anything about this man though I have heard of Yes. I never like hearing news like this regardless of the artist or person. By today's standards of living, 67 is far too young to pass away.
This sucks, gone too soon

Saw Yes live a few years ago. Chris was having so much fun on stage playing for an audience - all those years and he still loved every second of it. RIP…
