Problems With The Practice Amp. Need Help!
Hey guys, I have a very annoying problem with my small practice amplifier and i need your help. It sounds perfectly fine when i play with my headphones, which is what i do most of the time, but whenever i unplug them and play aloud, my amp goes nuts. Even if i have it turned only 1\4 of the way up, i get TERRIBLE vibrations that just buzz the hell out of my amp. What seems to drive it loco the worst is when i play any notes at all on the A string. It is a 35 watt Ampeg BA-110. Any advice or suggestions would really help me!
What bass are playing through it? An active or passive pick-up? If active try plugging in to the secondary input, if that doesn't work try turning down your pick-ups. Or just play really heavy music:).
I am playing a Fender Squier Jaguar PJ bass that does have an active circuit. I will definitely try what you have told me! I just want you to know that I really appreciate your help on this, it means a lot to me to have my amp back up and running again, thank you so much!
