I seem pretty addicted to RHCP at the minute and I was wondering of there were any other suggestions of good bass lines in songs?
I have to say I love the bass In ‘emmit remmus’ probably spelt wrong but hey! And also electric six have some pretty funky stuff going on too!!

It's a bit cheesy but I really like the bass line from Money (by Pink Floyd). I can't resist playing it any time I pick up the bass.

George Baker Selection - Little Green Bag (the intro song to Tarantino's Reservoir Dogs) has a really amazing bass line!
Taxman and Come Together by The Beatles. Also Psycho Killer by The Talking Heads.
BassLady, does Paul use a pick or just his fingers in that song? I can never tell.
