did any of you guys ever try the ‘game’ ROCKSMITH?
it's like ROCK BAND, but you use a REAL guitar or bass.
there's some duran content in the game as well as lots of other cool stuff.
if anyone wants to know anything more, ask away. i don't work for them, but
i LOVE that game. it makes you better at bass for sure. and it is amazing for kids!!
Figital, this game looks cool, I never played.
ROCKSMITH is really great. you can use any guitar or bass and there's many ways to play. it teaches you lots of techniques, like slapping and popping, and lets you practice in video game style games. it also has a session mode that lets you jam with a virtual band in many styles. so you choose, say ROCK with a crunchy guitar, organ and percussion. you tell it you want to play in Dmin and you play!
the game uses a 1/4 inch to usb cable and works on any good PC (or mac, xbox, ps4) and it's not super expensive.
it is surely worth looking into if you like video games and want to be a better bass or guitar player. you can get 2 cables and 2 players can play at the same time.
