Please rate tabs that you use
I wanted to remind folks that it is important to rate tabs. It is imperfect, but it is the only practical way to differentiate the useful from the useless. One day, staff will try to cull the useless from the BBT database, and ratings will be helpful.
So please, if you use a BBT tab to learn a song, take a moment to rate it. Thanks.

I smoked 20 Lucky Strikes last night, I'll give them 5/10
we are soon going to start the process of rearranging the tabs and the new system will be heavily dependant on the ratings. there will be a public service announcement calling for everyone to rate everything they play, so we can bring the % of rated tabs to really high numbers and roll out the new system.
but yeah, go ahead and start right now. we're totally fine with that

If you're going to be going through the database, how's about once a week you poste a batch of, say, 20-30 tabs which need rating. Any tab not rated after that week, you either rotate to the next week or just dump them from the database.
There are over 5,000 registered users on BBT; surely we can rate 20-30 un-rated tabs in a week.
Just a thought.

I'll try to remember from now on. I usually just focus on the song and move on
