The Sick Puppies and All That Remains have female bass players. Emma Anzi (SP) and Jeanne Sagan (ATM) funny what the acronym for All That Remains is.
Also, it's awesome to see that there are a great many female bassists out there. I am not a female myself, but I feel that bass players are one in the same, male or female.
