So guys, apparently guns n' roses reunion is happening!

Having an older sister, I used to listen to them a lot as a kid. Would be cool to see them live in the original line-up.

Not a fan of Axl. Will be interesting to see if the reunion goes to his head and he becomes a complete asshole again.

I wasn't aware he'd stopped being one, the precious little prima donna

Would you risk your hard earned cash on a ticket for his regular childish nonsense

"Axl continues to make life difficult for himself by refusing to obey clocks or calendars. And by giving an Irish crowd a bonus extra hour of drinking time before a set.
Less than a week after declaring ‘war’ on the promoters of the Reading/Leeds festival, Guns N’ Roses has again turned up on stage over an hour late, but this time the punters in Dublin greeted the band with a chorus of boos and a battering of bottles.
Rose quickly stopped the opening Welcome to the Jungle saying: “Here’s the deal: one more bottle, we go home. It’s up to you. We would like to stay. You want us to stay? We want to stay. We want to have some fun. If you don’t want to have fun, all you’ve got to do is let us know and we’ve got no problem. We’ll go on our way.”
The heckles continued and the band left the stage three songs later, leaving a floundering polite announcer to tell the crowd there have been some “technical difficulties” and plead with the angry punters: “I would ask you please to refrain from throwing items at him. I promise you a great show… I’m sorry about this but please be patient”

He would be a great fit with them. Different that Weiland, but would that would be a powerful band.

That's classic!

I don't follow Axl or the band much. I saw a televised concert of GnR from England over the Christmas break, and all I kept saying to myself was, “who are these guys playing with Axl?” And then I noticed Axl just wasn't really that into the performance. Was almost comical to me.

I thought there was a time where Axl came out admitting his faults and issues and thought I remember him declaring he changed his ways. Maybe I'm confusing his Atkins diet with character traits.

I remember seeing an interview with Slash (with Duff) after they kicked Weiland left VR where it was indicated 1) He would never be back, and 2) Slash and Duff (and I assume Matt Sorum) were Velvet Revolver, and whoever was handling the vocals was irrelevant and interchangeable.

And then they did that one-off show in 2012…

Had the pleasure of seeing VR at Brighton centre in 2008 (also took my son he was 10 at the time and he loved Slash, not his first gig though that was Alice Cooper two years previous! )

Weiland had already anounced his departure before the tour had even started but despite the obvious animosity between band members it was a great gig

Set was also filled with G n R and STP songs and Weiland really put on a great gig but always got the feeling he was a hired hand and going a bit through the motions knowing he was departing after this run of shows

Getting in Seb Bach as a touring vocalist would be a good fit I reckon

Would love to see a pumped up live version of skid rows slave to the grind done by VR
