a lot of music today doesn't use actual instruments, and that someone on the radio dissed the bass. I don't know why but I get fired up when these are brought up.

how on earth do you diss the bass? what did they say?
WHAT!!!! DISS THE BASS!!! I'd love to know the reasoning behind that statement.
Sounds a really dumb thing to say, I'd like to know in what context this was made. Somehow though I don't think any reason could cover up such a stupid statement.
Both those things REALLY grind my gears! And when tasteless kids these days have no respect for music.
Most types of music require a bass of some description. Shame we never got to find out where the original statement came from.
