I had a MIM Jazz Bass the same colour but with a Tortoiseshell scratchplate, it looked lush
What's an Artec 2 band EQ?
It's a pre-amp, like the EQ on a Stingray for instance, the Artec one comes complete with the bass and treble pots, the pre-amp, battery clip and wiring. You would need to make a third hole and another knob but that's a doddle on a P bass, so you'd have Vol, Bass, Treble, might sort your growl issues out too. You need a Badass Bridge aswell

They do a 3 band EQ aswell, four knobs on your Precision…now that's Rock n Roll!!

What's the 3rd? I've only seen that on the deluxe P-Basses with the J pickup
