About 20 seconds into the song (give or take a few seconds) the bass comes in. You hear 
a guitar play the bass riff one run through before it.

There's really no transition point between the chorus and the verse. But it starts with 
the chorus... At the end of the verse I like to add two e notes (7th fret on the A string) 
just to give it a little bit of a goofy upbeat. Enjoy!
